Would anyone know about a book or a document discussing the intercompany topic? I am interested in all intercompany related documentation as I would like to better understand how SAP is supporting intercompany processes. I understand there are different processes involving intercompany transactions and consequently different applications (SAP modules) that might be impacted by an intercompany set-up. However, in finance I guess we should always end up with an invoice to clear intercompany positions. Is there some standard set-up foreseen for this or is every company supposed to treat intercompany topic its own way?

Does anyone know what the transaction type code NACH means in MT940?

I have seen it configured with posting rules associated to direct payments from customers but also associated to direct debit transactions.

Any clue what is the proper usage for this code?
